I bought the Rokoko Electronics gear thinking it would be solid enough to last, especially for what it costs, but honestly... nope. After just a few months, one of the straps started cracking and a sensor connection got loose. And it’s not like I’m throwing it around or using it in some crazy setup — this is just normal home use. Kind of frustrating when you spend that much and the hardware starts acting fragile almost immediately. I really expected better durability.

I reached out to support hoping they’d actually help me get the issue fixed, but the replies took forever. Every time I waited and finally heard back, it didn’t really move things forward. Super frustrating, and the problem still isn’t resolved.

My first impression was that the licensing itself works fine, which is good. But the subscription side felt a bit confusing right away, and I still find it a little annoying to deal with at times

The tutorials look really nice at first, but I kept feeling like they skipped over a few important steps. I’d get halfway through and suddenly be stuck, wondering if I missed something obvious. I ended up digging through random forum posts just to figure out what to do next. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the docs could use a bit more detail in the places where beginners are most likely to get lost.

I got it set up quickly, and everything worked the way I expected. I didn’t run into any major issues, which definitely made me feel good about using it right away

My snap judgment when I first looked at rokoko was basically, “Okay, this is actually within reach compared to some of the other mocap setups out there.” That’s the main reason I went for it in the first place.

That said, I wouldn’t call it cheap. Once you start looking at the extra bits you might need, the cost can creep up a little. But for the quality and the amount of time it saves me, it feels fair.
Overall, I’m happy with what I’m getting for the money. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the pricing felt a bit easier for smaller users or people just getting started...

Maybe it’s just my body shape or I should’ve gone a size up, but the suit starts feeling tight after wearing it for a little while. It looks fine at first, I just couldn’t stay comfortable in it for long.

the suit is easy to use overall, but the tracking keeps drifting on me. i end up having to fix takes more than i expected, which gets annoying fast.

It gets the job done, but the UI feels a bit clunky at times. Compared to other apps I’ve used, it just doesn’t feel as smooth or intuitive, so I sometimes find myself clicking around more than I’d like.

I’ve been using Rokoko Electronics for rough body mocap, and it’s decent overall, especially when I just need to get the main movement down quickly. The little things are where I notice the issues, though, hands can slide a bit, wrists don’t always land where I expect, and faster turns or sharp movements sometimes drift just enough to bug me. It’s not unusable by any means, but I usually have to go back in afterward and tidy up the takes before they feel right.

I’ve been using it for a while, and compared to some apps that get worse after updates, this one actually stays solid. It works fine for me, and the updates seem to keep things running smoothly.

I ordered from Rokoko Electronics and the delivery was mostly fine. I got the tracking info after a day or two, and the package showed up in good shape, so no real complaints there. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but not enough to be a big deal or anything. Overall, it was a good experience... I just wish the shipping updates came through a bit faster
